Narrativas de vida: subjetividades LGBTQIA+ de estudantes de Ciências Sociais

Abstract

A presente dissertação analisa narrativas de vida de estudantes LGTQIA+ do curso de Ciências Sociais da Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Alinha-se a uma perspectiva pós-crítica da educação, por preconizar os processos subjetivos ao produzir tais narrativas como uma possibilidade de autorreflexão. As análises foram construídas a partir da perspectiva da problematização com o intuito de compreender e problematizar os modos como os sujeitos se produzem subjetivamente dentro de relações e exercícios de poder, discute-se sobre as “gangorras” existentes entre os processos de assujeitamento e singularização nos âmbitos de gênero e sexualidade. Das narrativas, além da dimensão universitária, surgiram apontamentos sobre relações familiares, escolares e religiosas. Os núcleos familiares, ao mesmo tempo que se configuraram como experiências violentas simbolicamente, também resultaram em estratégias de luta e resistências. Em algumas narrativas, o discurso religioso também impactou a esfera familiar ao propor condutas normativas. A escola como um espaço também atravessado por normas e relações de poder, em alguns casos se apresentou como um espaço discriminatório e opressivo. Em outros casos, também foi positivo para as produções subjetivas singularizantes, já que os círculos sociais e os vínculos afetivos se tornaram importantes para o sentimento de reconhecimento e pertencimento de estudantes LGBTQIA+. Já no âmbito universitário, observa-se que tanto a universidade como o curso de ciências sociais, em algumas narrativas apareceu como um espaço produtor de subjetividades singularizantes, já que de forma significativa apresenta um ambiente que proporciona círculos sociais e esferas de acolhimento, apoio e pertencimento para estudantes LGBTQIA+. Já na dimensão curricular, observa-se que as produções singularizantes independem de disciplinas e currículo, já que estes se apresentam defasados e sem atender as demandas relacionadas às produções de subjetividades LGBTQIA+. Narrativas de vida.The present dissertation analyzes the life narratives of LGBTQIA+ students from the Social Sciences course at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). The analyses were built from the perspective of problematization with the intent to understand and problematize the ways in which the subjects produce themselves subjectively within relations and exercises of power, discuss about the “swings” between the process of subjection, and singularization in the scope of gender and sexuality. From the narratives, besides the university dimension, notes emerged about the relationships in the family, school, and religion. The family nucleus, while configured symbolically as violent experiences, also resulted in strategies of fight and resistance. In some narratives, the religious discourse also impacted the family sphere by proposing normative conduct. The school, as a space also crossed by norms and relations of power, in some cases presented itself as a discriminatory and oppressive space. In other cases, it was also positive for singularizing subjective Productions, since social circles and affective bonds became important for the LGBTQIA+ students’ feelings of recognition and belonging. As for the university environment, it is observed that both the university and the Social Science course, in some narratives, appeared as a space that produces singularizing subjectivities, since it significantly presents an environment that provides social circles and spheres of welcoming, support, and belonging for the LGBTQIA+ students. In the curricular dimension, it is observed that the singularizing productions are independent of disciplines and curriculum, since They are outdated and do not meet the demands related to the production of LGBTQIA+ subjectivities.
