Narrativas e infância: representação da fantasia e da violência em A Bolsa Amarela e Sapato de Salto, de Lygia Bojunga

Abstract

Esta dissertação traz a representação da violência e dos direitos negligenciados na infância a partir das obras Sapato de Salto, publicada em 2006, e A bolsa amarela, em 1976, ambas da escritora Lygia Bojunga. As duas narrativas iluminam reflexões acerca da infância negligenciada na sociedade patriarcal e reafirmada pelas mídias, influenciando as famílias a reproduzirem esse padrão: Sapato de Salto traz a representação da sociedade patriarcal, denunciando um comportamento perverso em relação à infância; A bolsa amarela, evidenciando o empoderamento infantil. A análise apresenta um breve histórico do conceito de infância e da banalização dos direitos da criança e do adolescente, além de um olhar para a presença da infância na literatura clássica, nos contos de fadas e na literatura brasileira. Como ferramentas teóricas, esta pesquisa apresenta os conceitos acerca da Literatura Fantástica, da Intertextualidade, do Romance de Formação (bildungsroman) e da Mimesis. O estudo de tais obras ilumina os descasos com a infância, o que constitui um dos elementos centrais dos enredos. O narrador – ora em primeira, ora em terceira pessoa – serve de gatilho para a ações e os diálogos das personagens das tramas. A partir dessas personagens, foi possível perceber a voz dos sujeitos de direitos que não têm espaços de fala na sociedade e estão vulneráveis em uma cultura que ignora o sentimento de infância. Destarte, esta pesquisa contribui para o debate e para a reflexão sobre os direitos e proteção da infância, a partir da ficcionalidade dos direitos negligenciados desde a primeira etapa da vida. Lygia Bojunga.This dissertation brings the representation of the violence and the neglected rights during childhood using as a background the books Sapato de Salto, published in 2006, and A bolsa amarela, in 1976, both books written by the writer Lygia Bojunga. Both narratives iluminate reflections regarding the neglected childhood in the patriarchal society and confirmed by the media, influencing families to reproduce this pattern: Sapato de Salto brings the representation of the patriarchal society, reporting a perverse behavior regarding childhood; A bolsa amarela, on the other hand, highlights the child empowerment. The analysis presents a brief history of the concept of childhood and the trivialization of the rights of children and teenagers, besides a look into the presence of childhood in the classic literature, in the fairy tales and in the Brazilian literature. As theoretical tools, this research presents concepts regarding the Fantastic Literature, Intertextuality, Formation Romance (bildungsroman) as well as the Mimese. The study of such books enlightens the disregards with the childhood, which constitutes one of the main elements of the plot. The narrator - at times in the first person, at times in the third person – works as a trigger for the actions and the dialogues of the characters in the plot. From these characters, it was possible to perceive the voice of the subjects with rights who do not have space in the speech in the society and are vulnerable in a culture that ignores the feeling of childhood. Clearly this research contributes for the debate and for the reflection where the rights and protection of childhood are concerned having as a starting point the fictionality of the rights neglected since the first stage of life.
