Título: | Análise do comportamento mecânico de sistemas de solos reforçados com geotêxteis Analysis of the mechanical behavior of soil systems reinforced with geotextile |

estudados. Palavras-chave: Solo-Geotêxtil. Geotêxteis. Resistência à (Compressão Não

The main objective of this research was to evaluate, experimentally, the mechanical / geotechnical behavior of soil-geosynthetic systems, evaluating the factors that may influence the different effects produced by different geotextiles, soils and the position of the reinforcement within the specimens. The experimental program included the performance of physical, chemical and mineralogical characterization tests of the three soils and the determination of the optimal compaction parameters through the Proctor compaction tests in standard, intermediate and modified energies. Having defined the optimal compaction parameters, test specimens were molded with and without the insertion of three geotextiles, two geotextile and one nonwoven geotextile. The analysis of the effect of the insertion of geotextiles on the mechanical properties of the investigated soils was based on the RCNC test and Shear Resistance (T) test. The behaviors, with the reinforcement mechanisms, of soils with different granulometries and properties were evaluated, using soils being identified as Solo VS, Solo BR and Solo AERO and classified according to the MCT methodology as non-lateritic sandy (NA), lateritic clay (LG ”) and non-lateritic clay (NG'), respectively. In addition, statistics of the variables under study were analyzed, using the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann- Whitney tests. The characteristics of different reinforcement insertion positions were also analyzed. Overall, the results showed a trend of increasing unconfined compressive strength of reinforced mixtures compared to non-reinforced mixtures. Concerning the different soils, this increase was dependent on the mobilization of the reinforcement, generated by the friction characteristics of the system that lead to the transfer of tension from the soil to the reinforcement element. Regarding the different geotextiles and the different positions of location of these elements, it was noted that such predictors do not have significant effects on the RCNC parameter. When analyzing different compaction energies, itwas observed that the growth of compaction energy led to an increase in the contact of the geosynthetic with the soil, increased as a protection against interface friction, and generating greater increases in RCNC. The T tests showed the results the changes in compaction energy, soil and geotextile didnot have significant effects on the parameter 7 and that the insertion of geotextiles did not complementarily influence the parameters of shear strength of the systems studied. In relation to the parameters, it was noted that the increase in the level of normal stress factors promoted the increase of shear stress. Keywords: Soil-reinforced. Geosynthetics. Geotextiles.
