Abstract
Neste estudo, buscou-se analisar aspectos subjetivos, como sentido e significado do
trabalho, além de seus vínculos afetivos e imaginários que implicam questão social
que envolve benefícios materiais e a construção da identidade, assim como o
significado da aposentadoria. Nesse sentido, este estudo objetivou pesquisar o que
influencia o contexto de trabalho de técnico-administrativos que atuam na
Universidade Federal de Viçosa — servidores esses estáveis e que já preencheram
Os requisitos para se aposentarem — a permanecerem em suas atividades laborais. A
pesquisa foi realizada por meio de entrevistas não estruturadas com 20 técnicos
administrativos, sendo quatro de cada nível (A, B, C, D e E), dois do gênero
masculino e dois do feminino. Pelos depoimentos dos entrevistados, procurou-se
descrever e analisar os fatores que influenciam a sua permanência no trabalho, Os
principais resultados evidenciados foram: a aposentadoria no sentido positivo, que é
um prêmio ao trabalhador, seu direito, algo de bom, descanso merecido e que vai
acontecer naturalmente; no sentido negativo, como acomodação, ' inutilidade,
ociosidade e envelhecimento. Alguns concebem o trabalho como fonte de saúde,
qualidade de vida e prazer, cujo rompimento eleva o critério da inutilidade. Quando
questionados por que ainda não se aposentaram, as respostas foram relacionadas à
disposição para trabalhar, ao sentimento que ainda podem continuar contribuindo, à
interação social. Também, argumentaram postergar a aposentadoria por questões
financeiras. Assim, conclui-se que o servidor não está preparado para se aposentar
e possui forte vínculo institucional.
The objective of this study was to analyze subjective aspects such as sense and meaning of the labor, as well as their affective and imaginary ties that imply a social question that involves material benefits and the construction of identity, as well as the meaning of retirement. In this sense, the objective of this study was to investigate what influences the work context of technical-administrative personnel who work at the Federal University of Viçosa —servers that are stable in their work and have already met the requirements for retirement — to remain in their work activities. The study was conducted by means of unstructured interviews with 20 administrative technicians, four of each level (A, B, C, D and E), two men and two women. The interviewees' statements were used to describe and to analyze the factors that influence their stay at work, The main results evidenced were, as follows: retirement in a positive sense, which is an award to the worker, by his or her right, something good, well-deserved rest and that will happen naturally; in the negative sense, as accommodation, uselessness, idleness and aging. Some conceive of work as a source of health, quality of life and pleasure, whose disruption raises the criterion of uselessness. When asked why they have not yet retired, the answers were related to their willingness to work, to the feeling they can still contribute to social interaction. In addition, they argued that retirement was postponed for financial reasons. Thus, it is concluded that the server is not prepared to retire and has a strong institutional link.
