A interação a partir de entrevistas em Libras: um olhar etnometodológico na conversa institucional

Abstract

O presente estudo envolve duas temáticas discutidas no campo da Linguística Aplicada: o fenômeno do Reparo, a partir dos pressupostos dos estudos em Análise da Conversa Etnometodológica (SACKS, H.; SCHEGLOFF, E.; JEFFERSON, G., 1974) e, ainda, traços de Ideologias Linguísticas (KROSKRITY, 2008). Tais pressupostos possibilitam analisar um programa televisivo de entrevista que envolve locutores e interlocutores surdos que se comunicam por meio da Língua Brasileira de Sinais. Para que possamos compreender como agem os usuários de uma dada língua é preciso verificar as entrelinhas no decorrer das interações e nos atentarmos às ideologias que a envolvem. Isso nos leva a entender que as construções ideológicas são inerentes ao uso da língua em diversos espaços e situações expressas por grupos, averiguadas a partir dos discursos dos indivíduos. Também percebemos a recorrência do fenômeno do Reparo durante as interações, o qual sempre se manifesta com vistas a sanar os entraves que possam comprometer o entendimento durante a conversa, quer cotidiana, quer institucional. Em relação à descrição e análise dos dados, usufruímos das Ideologias Linguísticas para contextualizar o programa e os discursos nele desenvolvidos, referentes a Libras e a surdez. Percebemos que estas se manifestaram de modo a evidenciar a língua e a cultura surda, com vistas a levar o surdo a sonhar em superar os desafios utilizando- se de sua língua. No que tange ao Reparo, verificamos, por meio das transcrições das conversas estabelecidas nas entrevistas, os turnos constituídos por perguntas e respostas feitas por participantes surdos em Libras. Observamos a ocorrência do Reparo próxima à fonte de problema, ou seja, onde houve um obstáculo que não permitiu o entendimento por parte um dos participantes, gerando a interrupção do turno em andamento. Na maior parte de casos, o Reparo foi iniciado pelo outro e levado a cabo pelo falante da fonte de problema, sendo que o outro, em boa parte, era o apresentador, por este iniciar boa parte dos turnos ao fazer as perguntas. Também identificamos uma trajetória de Reparo iniciado e levado a cabo pelo outro, o que é comum em salas de aulas. Assim, esperamos que este trabalho possa estimular novas pesquisas com foco na interação em Libras, com vistas à compreensão de como tem se dado o uso colaborativo de um meio legal de comunicação e expressão. The present study involves two themes discussed in the field of Applied Linguistics: the Repair Phenomenon, based on the assumptions of the studies in Analysis of the Ethnomethodological Conversation - ACE (SACKS, H., SCHEGLOFF, E., JEFFERSON, G, 1974) and also traces of linguistic ideologies (KROSKRITY, 2008). Such assumptions make it possible to analyze a television interview program that involves speakers and deaf interlocutors who communicate through the Brazilian Language of Signals - Pounds. In order for us to understand how the users of a given language act, it is necessary to check between the lines in the course of the interactions and to pay attention to the ideologies that involve it. This leads us to understand that ideological constructions are inherent to the use of language in diverse spaces and situations expressed by groups, ascertained from the discourses of individuals. We also noticed the recurrence of the Repair phenomenon during the interactions. This phenomenon always manifests itself in order to remedy the obstacles that may compromise the understanding during the conversation, whether daily or institutional. Regarding the description and analysis of the data, we use Linguistic Ideologies to contextualize the program and the discourses developed in it, concerning Libras and deafness. We noticed that these were manifested in order to highlight the language and deaf culture, in order to lead the deaf to dream of overcoming the challenges using their language. Regarding Reparo, we verified, through the transcripts of the conversations established during the interviews, the turns consisting of questions and answers made by deaf participants, in Pounds. We observed the occurrence of Repair close to the problem source, that is, where, for some reason, there was an obstacle, at the moment of the communication made, that did not allow the understanding on the part of one of the participants, generating the interruption of the shift in progress. In most cases it was initiated by the other and carried out by the speaker of the problem source, where the other was in good part the presenter for this to start a good part of the turns when asking the questions. We have also identified a Repair trajectory initiated and carried out by the other, which is common in classrooms. Thus, we hope that the presentation may stimulate new research focused on the interaction in Libras, with a view to understanding how the collaborative use of a legal means of communication and expression.
