Juventude rural e emoções: fatores subjetivos de valorização do campo

Abstract

Evidencia-se que inúmeros discursos, por vezes antagônicos, sobre valorização, desvalorização e revalorização do mundo rural estão sendo difundidos na sociedade brasileira. À vista disso, esta investigação priorizou o eixo de valorização positiva sobre o rural, identificando e visualizando a dinâmica das representações dos jovens que vivem nesse espaço. Fundamenta-se aqui o olhar para a subjetividade do jovem, entendendo as diversas relações vivenciadas – consigo, com a família, com o meio e com o mundo. Dessa forma, procurou-se compreender os aspectos subjetivos envolvidos na elaboração dos projetos futuros da juventude rural, considerando que a subjetividade está fundamentalmente correlacionada aos fatores emocionais (emoções e sentimentos) e às escalas valorativas que orientam a leitura juvenil sobre o mundo. Para tanto, objetivou-se nesta dissertação compreender as representações e emoções positivas sobre o rural contemporâneo que influenciam na elaboração dos projetos de vida dos jovens de Derrubadas/RS. Como suporte teórico baseou-se na Sociologia da Juventude, na Teoria das Representações Sociais e na Sociologia e Antropologia das Emoções. Além da pesquisa bibliográfica, utilizou-se a pesquisa de campo, buscando a combinação de estratégias para a coleta de dados que envolveram três intervenções principais com jovens voluntários: entrevista individual, construção individual de mapa do projeto de vida e grupo focal. As intervenções se deram com os mesmos jovens, formando assim um “grupo principal de análise” com doze jovens do município. A estruturação desta investigação configura-se da seguinte maneira: inicialmente a parte introdutória que apresenta o delineamento geral da pesquisa, bem como o percurso metodológico percorrido pela pesquisadora; já no primeiro capítulo contextualiza-se o lócus da pesquisa e traça-se o perfil geral dos sujeitos participantes desta investigação; no capítulo 2 são abordadas as diversas visões acerca do mundo rural (científica, midiática e literária), inclusive as próprias representações dos jovens entrevistados sobre esse meio; no capítulo 3 reflete-se principalmente sobre o debate da(s) juventude(s) rural(is), a percepção dos envolvidos acerca da juventude e juventude rural e ainda os projetos de vida mapeados; por fim, no quarto capítulo apresenta-se o debate que envolve a Sociologia e a Antropologia das emoções destacando os sentimentos revelados pelos jovens de Derrubadas em relação ao meio rural. Quanto aos resultados encontrados, observou-se uma forte e positiva relação dos jovens com o meio rural e com o lugar onde vivem. A forma como os participantes da pesquisa se expressam (o modo de falar, os suspiros, o olhar, os silêncios e os ruídos) quando se referem ao campo demonstra o “gostar” e o “apreço” pelo seu modo de vida. Além disso, foram evidenciados fatores subjetivos em seus projetos futuros, tanto nas projeções em longo prazo quanto no momento atual de sua vida, indicando também emoções positivas envolvidas nessa fase de vida. As principais emoções vinculadas ao meio rural foram: alegria e prazer. Por fim, observou-se que para essa “gurizada” permanecer no campo é um desejo, uma escolha e não uma fatalidade.

It’s evident that numerous speeches, sometimes antagonistic, on valuation, devaluation and revaluation about the rural world are being disseminated in Brazilian society. Accordingly, this research has prioritized the positive value of axis on rural, identifying and visualizing the dynamics of the representations of young people living in that space. It is based here the look of young people to subjectivity, understanding the various lived relationships - with themselves, with their families, with the environment and with the world. Thus, we tried to understand the subjective aspects involved in the development of future projects of rural youth, considering that subjectivity is fundamentally correlated to emotional factors (emotions and feelings) and evaluative scales that guide the reading of the youth about the world. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is on the representations and positive emotions about the contemporary rural and how it influences the elaboration of life projects of the young people from Derrubadas/ RS. The theoretical support is based on the Sociology of Youth in the Social Representation Theory and in the Sociology and Anthropology of Emotions. In addition to the literature, we used the field research, seeking the combination of strategies to the collecting data that involved three main interventions with young volunteers: individual interviews, individual construction map design life and focus group. The interventions were carried out with the same young people, thus forming a "core group analysis" with twelve young people from the municipality. The structuring of this research sets up the following way: initially the introductory part that presents the general research design and the methodological path traversed by the researcher; in the first chapter there is a contextualization of the research locus and we pinworm the general profile of participants in this research; in the second Chapter are addressed the diversity of views about the rural world (scientific, media and literary), including the own representations of young people interviewed about this envioronment; on the third Chapter is reflected above all the debate about the Youth(s) Rural (is), the perception of those involved about youth and rural youth and also the mapped life projects. Finally, the fourth chapter presents the debate surrounding the sociology and anthropology of emotions, highlighting the feelings revealed by the youth from Derrubadas about the rural areas. According to the results, there was a strong and positive relationship of young people with the countryside and the place where they live. The way that the participants express themselves (the way that they speak, the sighs, the look, the silence and the noise) when they refer to the field, shows the "like" and "appreciation" about their lifestyle. In addition, subjective factors were highlighted in their future projects, both long- term projections as at the moment of their lives. That indicates positive emotions that are involved in this moment of life. The main emotions linked to the rural areas were joy and pleasure. Finally, it was observed that for this "gurizada" remain in the field is a desire, a choice and not a fatality.
