Título: Os trabalhos de campo como contribuições para o ensino de Geografia: turismo, lugar e patrimônio

Abstract: O presente artigo é referente ao trabalho de campo que teve como área de estudo duas áreas rurais do Município de Araguari (Triângulo Mineiro) denominados de Buracão e Fundão, executado na disciplina “Turismo e Espaço: os usos do rural e do urbano”, desenvolvida pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Geografia da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar os patrimônios, heranças e modos de vida na formação da paisagem sócio-cultural do lugar e buscar entender os mesmos como possível potencialidade turística regional e uma opção de trabalho de campo para o ensino de geografia. Compondo o patrimônio cultural do lugar estão: o patrimônio material e imaterial, fortemente perceptível na paisagem. Encontra-se no lugar algumas construções históricas de significativo valor cultural, assim como elementos constitutivos da cultura: a religiosidade, a culinária, os festejos, o artesanato, entre outros, construídos historicamente na formação da paisagem sócio-cultural do lugar. Quanto aos aspectos metodológicos, em primeiro plano foi realizada a pesquisa documental, tendo por base o levantamento das referências bibliográficas, e posteriormente o contato informal com os moradores locais. Conclui-se que os patrimônios materiais e imateriais da comunidade estudada representam atrativos turísticos importantes para o trabalho de campo e o ensino da geografia.
The present article refers to the field work that has as its main objective, the study of two agricultural zones located in the city of Araguari (Triângulo Mineiro) that are also called Buracao and Fundão. This article was carried through the discipline of “Tourism and Space: the uses of the agricultural area and the urban one”, developed to the Program of Pós-Graduation in Geography of the Uberlandia’s Federal University. The objective of this article is to analyze the patrimonies, inheritances and the way of life in the formation of the social-cultural landscape of the cited areas, just like trying to understand them as a possible potentially regional touristic place and as option of field work for the geography education. Forming the cultural patrimony of the place are: the material and incorporeal patrimonies, strongly noticed in the landscape. There are some historical buildings with relevant cultural values, as well as constituent elements of the culture: the religiosity, the typical food dishes, the typical parties, the handmade products, among others, created historically in the formation of the social-cultural landscape of the place. Inside the methodologic aspects, in first plan the documentary research was carried through, having as base the survey of the bibliographical references, and later the informal contact with the local inhabitants. Can be concluded that the material and incorporeal patrimonies of the studied community represents attractive touristic importance to the field work and the education of geography.
